Polish Central Bank Governor Expects Inflation to Remain Within Target Range
Polish central bank governor Adam Glapiński said he expects inflation in Poland to remain within the target range in the coming period, noting that current monetary policy is capable of containing price pressures despite global economic volatility.

He explained that recent indicators point to a gradual slowdown in price growth, giving policymakers room to act cautiously when determining the path of interest rates.

Glapiński added that the bank is closely monitoring developments in energy and food markets as well as the zloty exchange rate, as key factors influencing inflation trends.

He stressed that stable inflation expectations among households and businesses are essential for maintaining economic balance and supporting sustainable growth.

Analysts believe the governor’s remarks indicate a preference to keep monetary policy broadly unchanged in the near term amid ongoing uncertainty in Europe and global financial markets.
